Learn to play the instrument that you've always wanted to play! It’s a lifetime experience!!  Our teachers who fulfill the Archdiocesan requirements provide lessons for the following instruments: Flute, Clarinet, Trumpet, Violin, Cello, Percussion, Guitar.

First lessons begin:
Tuesday, September 16th and Wednesday, September 17th 

Bring your own instrument, music will be provided.

Group lessons:

Occur every Tuesday and Wednesday, when school is in session (approx. 35 minutes/lesson). Group Lessons are $120.00/quarter with the 1st payment option of a $30.00 deposit and the $90.00 balance is due by October 10, 2014. 

Each quarter, parents will be mailed a tuition statement and an evaluation from the instructor on the student's progress.

Registration Due:
September 11, 2014 –checks made payable to St. Matthew Catholic School . (Please indicate ‘Instrumental Program’ on the memo section of your check).  REGISTRATION FORM (click here)

Quarterly Payment Due:

September 10th, October 29th, January 14th & March 11th.


Refunds will not be given for lessons missed. If a student needs to withdraw from the program, a refund will be given for the remaining lessons not taken during that quarter.


Each student is responsible for obtaining his/her instrument. She/he will need to rent or purchase the instrument by the first class.

Student Requirements:

Class attendance and daily practice is mandatory. Students must bring their instrument and music to every lesson in order to benefit from the instruction!

Peformance Opportunities:

Students (mostly advanced players), will be invited to play for school/parish liturgies and local community events during the school year.

End-of-year Concert/Performances:

ALL students will perform on May 6th from 7:00-8:30 PM.
