Community

A spirit of welcome and openness is a dominate characteristic of St. Matthew Catholic School and Parish.

We embrace the true meaning of the word "catholicity" (from the Greek words kata and holos, meaning "inclusive of everyone") with an invitation and welcoming spirit to all of our families. With this foundation of our Catholic heritage we believe that our school will thrive best in a loving and supportive community.  The sense of community at St. Matthew is one of our endearing strengths and it is what has made our school such a powerful experience for so many.

We believe that students learn and grow best in a loving and supportive community. Our St. Matthew community is an enduring strength and it is what has made attending our school such a powerful experience for so many.

We structure our community events to be occasions that involve no fundraising. Our fundraising events are limited to two events each year in order to streamline and limit the number of times we ask our parents to donate or contribute financially
