Uniform, Makeup and Grooming Policies 2011 - 2012
The school uniform must be worn at all times beginning the first day of school, with the exception of the day on which Scouts, Brownies or Cheerleaders have their meeting or event. On all days the uniform should be clean, well pressed and mended. If there is reason for a student to be out of uniform, a note should be sent to the office giving the reason.

Used uniforms are available at the school for greatly discounted price several times a year via the Uniform Exchange.
UNIFORM / MAKE UP / GROOMING
The school uniform must be worn at all times, with the exception of the day on which Scouts or Brownies have their meeting or events.
The uniform should be clean, neat and well-maintained.
Uniform Guidelines:
- Navy blue sweatshirt with the school logo is required for weekly Mass
- Belts must be worn with all shorts and pants
- Belts may be navy blue, brown or black
- Socks must be white crew length or higher
- Girls may wear navy blue or white tights. NO LEGGINGS
- White turtlenecks or white t-shirts may be worn under specified uniform shirts
- Shoes must be primarily white or black with rubber soles, no distracting patterns or logos.
- No high-tops, boots, sandals, or ballet flats.
- Jumpers and skorts must not be shorter than 3 inches above the kneecap.
- All shirts must be tucked in at all times
- The navy blue fleece may only be worn over the navy blue sweatshirt
- Grades 6-8 only: Junior High Book Bag (for switching classes)
Used uniforms are available at the school several times a year.
There may be occasions when non-uniform dress is allowed. At each occasion the specifications regarding the appropriate dress will be announced.
All items of clothing, including jackets and coats, must be marked with the student’s name.

GIRLS GROOMING & ACCESSORIES
- Hair should be clean and neat.
- Hair is not to be colored or highlighted.
- Hair accessories should be minimal.
- One unobtrusive stud earring per ear is allowed; for safety purposes no hoops or dangling earrings allowed. No other body piercings allowed.
- One small religious cross or medal on a light chain may be worn.
- Wristwatches may be worn.
- No bracelets are allowed.
- No make-up or fingernail polish is allowed.
- Tattoos in permanent or stick-on form are not allowed.
- No cologne or perfumed body sprays
GUIDELINES FOR GIRLS - FREE DRESS OR SPECIAL DRESS DAYS
- No frayed or torn clothing
- No baggy pants, sweatpants, athletic shorts, bike shorts, flannel or cotton boxer-style shorts.
- No oversized clothing
- Shorts or skirts must be no more 3 inches above the kneecap - walking short length
- No tank tops or spaghetti straps.
- No shirt that is too short to tuck in.
- No tops that are too revealing, provocative, or display inappropriate language or graphics.

BOYS K-4 Boys

BOYS GRADES 5-7
- Mills brand khaki pants or walking shorts,

- Hair must be cut to the following specifications: around the ears, above the eyebrows, and above the polo shirt collar. No shorter than a 2" clipper cut. No body piercings allowed.
- Tattoos in permanent or stick-on form are not allowed.
