Scrip program 2008-2009
Scrip are like gift certificates that are purchased in advance and used like cash at participating merchants. St. Matthew's purchases Scrip at a discount and sells them at full face value, retaining the discount amount as the fundraising income. It is a simple way to raise money for the school while purchasing everyday items like food, clothing and other essentials, without an added expense.
The Scrip program is the school's major fundraiser. Proceeds from Scrip benefit many of the needs of St. Matthew School.
Read "How to Meet Your Scrip Committment", a tip sheet on how to spend less and contribute more featuring examples of you can maximize your scrip contributions.
