Scrip
Scrip are like gift certificates that are purchased in advance and used like cash at participating merchants. St. Matthew's purchases Scrip at a discount and sells them at full face value, retaining the discount amount as the fundraising income. It is a simple way to raise money for the school while purchasing everyday items like food, clothing and other essentials, without an added expense.
The Scrip program is the school's major fundraiser. Proceeds from Scrip benefit many of the needs of St. Matthew School.
2008-09 Annual Scrip commitment:
- Each family is required to generate a minimum of $225.00 of profit from Scrip purchases.
- Families have the option to buy-out their Scrip commitment in the amount of $300.00.

Wrapping Paper Drive
The Wrapping Paper Drive occurs in the fall and the proceeds go directly to school families needing tuition assistance. Participation is voluntary, but highly encouraged. Sales begin in September.

General Mills Box Tops for Education
Please remember to save your GM Box Tops logos from over 330 participating General Mills products. Each box top
saved earns $.10 for our school and it really adds up quickly when we all make the effort to collect!
This year, we're raising money to help fund the purchase of new science lab and playground equipment for our school.
Ask your grandparents, relatives, neighbors and friends to start saving Box Tops for you. Just drop off the clipped
Box Tops in the collection boxes located in each classroom. There will be contests held throughout the year for the
class that brings in the most Box Tops.
If everyone does his or her part, we will easily reach our goal!
Campbells Labels for Education
We all have Campbell Soups in our cupboards at home. Before you recycle your cans, remember to save the labels. Turn them into the school office and help us earn some easy cash for our school.
Auction Dinner/Dance
Every other year there is an Auction Dinner/Dance fundraiser.
