The Library at St. Matthew

St. Matthew's library serves the entire school community and has catalog of over 11,000 books, magazines and videos.
Don't forget to visit Mrs. West's Library Blog!
Grades K-6 attend weekly and participate in our library reading prgram designed to expose students to a variety in literature, including biographies, poetry, myths, short stories and non-fiction. Library staff coordinates with teachers to steer students to books that fit with various class assignments. We also display class art work. We are open during school hours.
Library Links
We've compiled a list of informative and useful website links. You can search the St. Matthew library catalog, consider great reading suggestions and find sites related to class work. See our collection of useful links.

Book Fair
This week-long festival of fun and frolic serves as the principle fundraiser for the library. The fair is open every day after school and one evening. We have drawings, art contests, junior high required reading books and tons of fun!! We always need volunteers, so sign up and support the library.
Volunteers
Volunteers are the backbone of the library. Volunteers assist in the library with reading, book selection, shelving, and checkout.
Donations
Book and video donations are always welcome; just talk to the librarian first. We ask that all donations be in "excellent" condition which means no ripped pages, scribbles or signs of age, etc. Please put donations in a book bag and drop them in the library. We are grateful for your generosity.
