Kindergarten 5th Grade Buddies
Our 5th grade buddies have a very special place in the hearts of the kindergarteners. At the beginning of school, each kindergartener is matched with a 5th grader who becomes the kindergartener's mentor, tutor, big brother or sister, buddy, and role model throughout the school year.
The kindergarteners look forward to the weekly visits from the 5th graders during which they work on projects together that mutually enhance their skills. The buddies help the kindergarteners express thoughts, spell, write, count, and learn!
