St. Matthew Class of '81 Reunion

The Class of '81 had a wonderful time at their reunion on November 26th. They spent a lovely evening in Kingfish, downtown San Mateo, reminiscing about their years at St. Matthew. "We spent 2 hours chatting before even sitting down to order dinner", says Julie (Bonfede) Bundy. Julie and former classmate Michelle (Sanfilippo) Harrison organized the event. They are already talking about organizing a 35th reunion!!

St. Matthew Class of '52 Reunion

On Saturday, April 9, the Class of '52 had a luncheon for classmates only at the Kohl Pump House at Central Park in San Mateo. On Sunday the class had a tour of the school led by Jen Sabo, who is the daughter of classmate Mary Lou Brignolo Harris. (Mrs. Bev Viotti is a cousin of classmate Judy Bilafer Doyle.) After the tour the class attended the 10:45 Mass, concelebrated by classmate Father Kieran McCormick. Our other clergy classmates participated too - Sister Helen Gilsdorf SM led the psalm and Sister Nancy McCarron SND was a Eucharistic minister. Pat Hoffman Keicher was the other minister and Tormey Ward read the petitions. Arlene Lugliani Norton and Joyce Flores Kiefer brought up the candles.

Afterwards the Class of '52 went to the Peninsula Golf and Country Club for lunch. Spouses participated in the Sunday events.

St. Matthew Class of '83 Reunion

On December 27, 2003 St. Matthew's Class of '83 alumni & guests gathered in the school gym for their 20 year reunion. Classmates greeted each other, recognizing faces they hadn't seen in many years. Graduates came from as far away as Texas, Florida and Alaska. Former 7th grade teacher Ron Estes (now school superintendent in Stockton) attended as well as a "never aging" Sister Marcelle (former 5th grade teacher) who gave a wonderful speech. Marlon Castro hosted a Trivia contest and classmates recalled obscure facts from their days at St. Matts. All thoroughly enjoyed a slideshow with old pictures set to music. They ended the evening eating, drinking, listening to 80's tunes and reminiscing.
